Meet The Dan Random Band
Johnny Reid Winders - Lead Guitar

Johnny Reid is a singer, guitarist and entertainer and a driving force with his high-energy guitar playing, rock-flavored vocals and effervescent tongue. He was influenced early in his musical career by many great guitar legends - Jimbo Trix, Waste-Away Callahan, Johnny Summer, Jeff Allman, Duane Beck - while honing his guitar skills. Johnny moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1990. Since the move, has performed with the R&B group "Soul Purpose" and the "Dan Random" band. Johnny is an experienced vocalist, guitarist and performer. “I’ll always play guitar and sing - that's what I love so much,” Johnny confides.

Tom Johnson - Drums

Tom (t-man) Johnson is no stranger to the Atlanta music scene, He has preformed and record in various bands ranging from Jazz to Metal.

Originally from Liberal, KS, T-Man joined the "Dan Random Band" in 2000. Tom's broad styles and versatility make him a perfect fit for the DRB!

Wayne Vickers - Bass Guitar

Wayne has played lead guitar and bass guitar in a variety of bands that range from Southern Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Blues, Jazz and New Age... If you ask Wayne; "What kind of music do you like?" he will say, "Loud!"

Wayne met Dan shortly before the release of "Ghost of the House" and they became great friends. When Dan began preparing to record another CD, Wayne was asked to play bass. He has been recording and performing with "The Dan Random Band" ever since.

Becky Herring - Vocals

Becky Herring, originally from Chevy Chase, MD, graduated from Emory University in 2008 with a degree in vocal performance. She currently works as the Arts Associate for the Emory College Center for Creativity & Arts (CCA). In addition to singing with the Dan Random Band, Becky also performs with the Graduates a cappella group.

Aerin DeJarnette - Violin

Aerin DeJarnette was born in Snellville, Ga and currently lives in Atlanta while attending school at Georgia Tech. She has been classically trained on violin since the age of four, but has played mostly fiddle for the past few years. The Dan Random Band represents her first venture into a more popular style of music.

Jessie Sandlin - Guitar

Jessie was born in Houston Texas. He started with music playing piano in elementry school, but when he reached high school, he realized guitar was a lot more fun and interesting. From there he played in a band in high school and a band in college, where he played all over the state of Oklahoma, and some outside. He had been playing guitar at churches in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas since high school, so when he got to Georgia he started doing the same, and that's how how he met Dan.

Brett Gowder - Keyboards

Brett is a native of Orange County, California, but has lived in the Atlanta area for most of his life. At a young age, he discovered guitar and piano and has been playing ever since. Guitar heroes include Eddie Van Halen and Alex Lifeson, while keyboard heroes include Gregg Rolie and Benny Andersson (one of the most overlooked keyboard players of all time).
